So Many Companies, Which Is Right For Me?

Beware of the Fluff. They seem like great companies, they have a good sales pitch and their comp plan looks good too. They have big corporate offices and have been around for years. Isn’t that good? Any company out there that sells products like lotions, potions, pills, miracle juices or miracle gas saving products usually doesn’t work for the average person for many reasons.
Those companies usually make most of their money from you, the distributor, not from selling the products. They have you on auto ship, so you are their income.
They only pay about 2% to 15% so many levels deep. They will tell you that when you fill the matrix, you won’t have to do anything and you’ll be making 20 to 40k a month. The truth is, there are so many loop holes to their comp plans that no body ever reaches those levels. You either will have too many people on your left, but not enough on your right side to make the higher level payouts. They tell you that you need more personal volume and your group volume is fine or vice versa, or my favorite, you had fallout this month, so you no longer qualify for that car bonus we promised you about.
They make you hold home parties to push your crap on your friends. Listen to me…..If I wanted weight loss, I’d go to GNC. If I wanted Lotions, I’d go to CVS, Save on, Nordstrom or Bullocks. If I wanted to put additives in my gas tank, I’d go to Kragen, Chief or Pep Boys and buy a product from STP or Penzoil. You get what I mean….?
They are a copy cat company of the original company. How many companies out there are selling a juice that is based from the Acai Berry, Goji berry or the Mangosteen fruit? How many of those promise to cure cancer? What a joke? Is our society that ignorant that if something actually cured cancer, wouldn’t we want to check it out? How many travel companies are there now? How many fuel additives are there now? How many of those have been shut down? How many make up, skin lotions and vitamin companies are there out there?
It just seems like there are so many junk companies on the internet, how do you know what is good and what is not? Some of these companies above actually have a good product, but I would never go in business with them.
So, how do I choose a business that I can profit from and that I can be proud to represent?
When I evaluate a company, I look for these key points. Keep in mind, when I join a company, my #1 goal is to make money and to do it legitimately. I do not want to hurt anyone or rip anyone off. This is what I’ve learned and these guidelines will help you determine what company is right for you.
If you are not making at least 75% of the upfront commission when you make a sale, forget it. This means that you are doing all the work and the company and/or the person above you is making all the money.
If you have to have 1000, 10,000 or 20,000 people in your organization before you make any real money. DO NOT Join. Most people will NEVER get there.
If they teach you to hold home parties and invite all your friends. Run away fast.
If they have a sales pitch 2-3 times a day and only 2-3 training classes per week. This means that the company is more interested in selling you than training you how to make money long term.
If you can’t break even or get into profit with 3 sales, forget it.
If you can’t speak with the owners or the corporate office via phone or webinar, Forget it. I like to know who I am doing business with before I will do business with them.
If it is a start up or in pre launch, forget it. The chances of these companies becoming the next Amway is about as good as winning the lottery. At least with the lottery, you have a chance to win once or twice a week. You might as well go to Vegas and blow your money on a good time. At least you’ll have some great memories, see a great show and have a great meal.
These are not all the rules for success on the internet, but this is a great guideline to follow when evaluating an internet company.

Quitting Is Not An Option In My Homebased Business

We have all heard the stories about those who started a home business only to quit a few short weeks or months later. It seems to many people expect overnight wealth or fame. They do their research, find a company that they feel was a perfect fit and then expect huge income for doing a little bit of work. I think the key word in this has been missed, business, and that is what this is, a business. Just because you do not get out of bed, get in your car and go to a brick building does not mean you have to put alot less effort into it. In my opinion, being able to cut the early morning doldrums and drives would serve as an incentive to work even harder at building a strong and successful business. I know that is just one of the things that has driven me each day to go that extra mile, make that next call and place just one more ad before calling it a day.

When I decided that this was the route I was meant to take to earn a living, I never expected quick riches. I will not say I wasn't hoping for such, but I knew that the people we hear about who find this success in just 2 weeks are the exception instead of the rule.

There is a story that I go back to when I feel even the slightest bit of my faith waning and it always lights the fire back under me to get going. It is called "The Fern And The Bamboo". This is that story. (Author Unknown)

One day I decided to quit.... I quit my job, my relationship, my spirituality.... I wanted to quit my life. I went to the woods to have one last talk with God.

"God", I said. "Can you give me one good reason not to quit?"

His answer surprised me... "Look around", He said. "Do you see the fern and the bamboo?"

"Yes", I replied.

"When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I took very good care of them. I gave them light. I gave them water. The fern quickly grew from the earth. Its brilliant green covered the floor. Yet nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo."

In the second year the Fern grew more vibrant and plentiful. And again, nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo".

He said, "In the third year, there was still nothing from the bamboo seed. But I would not quit. In the fourth year, again, there was nothing from the bamboo seed. But I would not quit."

He said, "Then in the fifth year a tiny sprout emerged from the earth. Compared to the fern it was seemingly small and insignificant. But just 6 months later the bamboo rose to over 100 feet tall. It had spent thefive years growing roots. Those roots made it strong and gave it what it needed to survive. I would not give any of my creations a challenge it could not handle."

He said to me, "Did you know, my child, that all this time you have been struggling, you have actually been growing roots. I would not quit on the bamboo. I will never quit on you. Don't compare yourself to others."

He said, "The bamboo had a different purpose than the fern, yet, they both make the forest beautiful." "Your time will come," God said to me. "You willrise high!"

"How high should I rise?" I asked.

"How high will the bamboo rise?",He asked in return.

"As high as it can?" I questioned.

Yes." He said

The people who grow fast and furious are the fern, but most of us, people like me, are the bamboo. We are growing strong roots by attending training classes, learning about advertising and building relationships. Whether it takes us 3 months, 6 months, a year or even two, it is what we must do to have a business that is on a strong foundation. We want a business that will continue to grow as high as it possibly can, but we need that foundation to keep it strong, to keep it from crumbling.

I like to refer to my start in this world of internet marketing as me being an infant. I had never even tried anything like this before. There were days I got frustrated and wondered if I had made the right decision, but as I continued to grow my roots, something amazing happened. It was like somebody flipped a switch and the light in my head came on, I was getting it. I suddenly knew the "lingo", I understood what I had to do and most of all, I believed I could do it. Once this happened, I saw even bigger and better things come my way. People were seeking me out, asking me questions, they were asking me, who only a few months earlier could not have given the definition of back office.

Do what you must do to see your business succeed, attend training, seek out those who are strong and knowledgable, build lasting relationships so that you have a team to cheer you on if you feel like giving up. Surround yourself with these and you will see great things begin to happen like I have. My business is more successful each day that comes. It would not be so if I had given up and quit before I had even given myself a chance.

Giving up on this is really giving up on yourself. Henry Ford, founder of the Ford Motor Company said, "If you think you can do a thing or think you can't do a thing, you're right." What a true statement. If you think you can, you can and will, if you think you can't, you can't and won't. He also said, "You can't build a reputation on what you are going to do." So put away all of the I can'ts and stop saying I will do it tomorrow. Get busy today growing those strong roots of a successful business. My own grandfather always said, "can't never could, won't never would and tomorrow never comes." Remember those words and tell yourself, I can, I will, tomorrow is today and today is yesterday, I better get busy now.

Let me close with this, when, not if, WHEN you have that good, strong and successful home based business and you have people following you in, be the sponsor you would want to have. Always remember where you started and what you needed and give them more. This too, is part of being successful.

Learning, Loving & Leading in Internet Marketing

In the world of internet marketing, I have to say, most people probably see themselves as followers. I know that is how I saw myself .

The big problem for me was that I was just so new to this whole world of making money from home. I mean a person gets up, gets dressed and goes to work to earn a living, right? But is that really the only way?

I think many of us go through stages, which I call the 3 L's….Learning…..Loving…..Leading.

Learning, of course anyone doing something for the first time knows that there is a learning curve. Even in a new relationship, the first part is learning about each other.

Business will be no different. We can’t say, I am going to start a business and expect to just magically know it all right then and there. That is why it was essential for me to align myself with a company that offers a wealth of training. I did not want to be left standing and wondering, what do I do now? My company offers just that, hours of training each week, access to the owners who help and support you through it all and the top earner closes for you.

Thank goodness for that, because I am one person who was overwhelmed at the thought of owning my own business and all of the "what happens if" questions that came along with it. The learning process will continue, there will always be something to learn and I want to be sure I am being taught by the best.

I can't express just how vital training is. I try to absorb every word. In housewife terms, I am the paper towel and their words are the spill that I am absorbing.

Loving what I am doing comes with each new thing I learn. I was such an infant in this home business world, but I have learned and can apply my knowledge and get that sale, earn that money & I can’t help but smile and say, I LOVE THIS! Yes, it takes work, yes, it takes time, but oh it is so worth it to be able to say, I work at home and I love it! Do I love it every second of every day? Well, I must confess, I have my times of frustration, but that is usually when I have come upon something that I just do not know about, and then the love may become less, but, I seek out the answers and once again am along my happy way. There is nothing in life that has no bumps, it is how we manage those bumps that counts.

Leadership... I have noticed I have come a long way from the day I said, yes, I want to join this, I want my own business. I have gone from asking almost all of the questions to being able to answer them. I was surprised just a few days ago when someone was asking a friend about blogging. My friend could not answer, but I was able to pull from my training and lead her through the set up so she could get started. I kind of chuckled because I remember my husband saying, one day you will be leading people in this home based business world. My reply was I doubted that very seriously.

I have no more doubts about that. I know, with hard work and perserverance, I will indeed be a strong leader. My favorite description of what a leader is comes from Dr. Robert Jarvik, creator of the artificial heart and someone, who, as a surgical technologist, I have such huge respect for, along with his accomplishments. Dr Jarvik says, “Leaders are visionaries with a poorly developed sense of fear and no concepts of the odds against them. They make the impossible happen.”

I know in the world of homebased businesses, most of my friends “warned” me of these odds, some even saying I would never make this happen. I prefer to look at it the same way Dr Jarvik would, with a poorly developed sense of fear, no concept of those “odds” against me.

The only odds against me are the ones I put there myself and listening to those who won’t even try because of their fear of something unknown would go against my grain.

My husband fights in Iraq every single day and will for many more months to come. Believe me, I know what fear of the unknown is, but I can’t just lay down and let it eat me alive.

I want to be a leader and I want to make what others see as impossible happen. I want to help others achieve these same goals. To do this, I make sure I align myself with true leaders who mentor me and are interested in my success.

Don't settle for less than what you know you are capable of. Get busy learning, loving and leading.

My Success, Passion Brings Action in Home Based Business

Are you a leader or a follower? Do you believe in teamwork? If a disaster happened in your town, would you stand back waiting for instructions or would you jump in and get the job done? Do you take it upon yourself to find solutions to problems that might arise? I have been asked these questions multiple times while on interviews.

I remember wondering, what is the correct answer? What is it they are looking for?
When I decided that a home-based business was the way I wanted to go with my life, I asked myself these same questions and how could I incorporate my answers into becoming successful. Would I be able to make money at home in internet marketing?

The first step was finding a business I could believe in and that offered training and support to help me with my efforts. I needed a solution to this problem. I could not sit back on my heels waiting for one to just come to me, I had to search and research and search some more. I treated it like a homework assignment and looked at alot of online businesses. I took notes, I compared and I looked for the aspects that I had already decided were necessary in order for me to make a decision. I listed each one that caught my attention and then underneath each one, I listed what was offered. This eliminated many right at the start. I found myself down to three companies and out of these three, I knew, with further research, that I would find the one that was meant for me, that right fit.

Once I found my fit, I wondered, how does this work? Do I sit back and wait for the money to roll in? Of course that was not going to happen. This is a business I am putting together and businesses take work. But how do I make it work? TRAINING... I was not a marketer, not an entreprenuer. I was a get up at 5 am, get dressed and go to my job as a surgical technologist kind of person, I knew nothing about marketing. I knew nothing about advertising. When I say nothing, I mean absolutely not the first thing. This was my disaster, the one where I jumped in and started to get the job done by educating myself. It has been easy because the company I chose provides many hours per week of training to help the average person and the well seasoned marketer to succeed. But it shouldn’t stop there, you have to get a passion for your business. “What I know is, is that if you do work that you love, and the work fulfills you, the rest will come.” Oprah Winfrey, The Oprah Winfrey Show …..Get that passion and love your work!

Passion brings action, plain and simple. It is much easier to work at something you have a passion for than dragging yourself through the day performing mundane tasks. I can honestly tell you, it has been extremely easy to have a passion for a business I call my own! Take your passion, team it with the knowledge you gain in training, apply it to your business and watch the great results pile up. I have that passion for my internet marketing business, I absolutely love getting out of bed in the morning and walking into my home office and starting my day. I look forward to guiding others through what I have already researched and learned. What it boils down to is, I love my work.

Remember, Passion brings Action and action brings results.

Watch Out For Scam Artists in Internet Marketing

How do you define scam artists? Have you ever bought into something only to find they took your money and disappeared? I have to many times for my own comfort and it was a hard lesson to learn. Some of these lessons learned did not come cheap and I felt the burn and yes, embarassment of it all. But, I also learned what to look for and when to simply hit delete when one of these self proclaimed gurus send some fantastic offer to my inbox.

I have noticed that many people in the internet business world have similar traits, they jump from program to program, making this one sound better than the last and sucking unsuspecting , honest people dry before moving on with our hard earned money in hand. I compare them to leeches that attach themselves to you until they have sucked every ounce of blood from you and when they have their fill, no longer need or want you around.

When I was researching companies, I noticed that, when speaking to someone on the phone, they were all about me and what I could do with their company. They were all about me until I said I did not have the cash to take advantage of their opportunity at the moment. After I revealed this, the call went one of two ways, they either said a quick goodbye and hung up or went into a high pressure sales pitch. If I continued to resist, their tone changed and suddenly, it wasn’t about helping me better my life anymore. You see, scam artists do not care about they person, they only care about what the person is going to DO FOR THEM.

Another trait that I put into the scam artist category are those who like to play dirty. They think that by pointing fingers at other marketers and internet gurus, they make themselves look good and scare people away from the other programs. They just love to sling that mud. I know businesses do have some competition going on, but approaching this in a less than honest manner, in my book is wrong. When I look at a website, I want to see what the opportunity will mean for me, I want to know that if I go into this business, it is one that stands on it’s own two feet without having to use tactics like mud slinging and I certainly don’t want to feel like I am looking at a gossip column. Look for honesty, because if you can find that, then you have found a company that is worth putting your money into.

How can you tell when you are dealing with an honest company and not someone who is out to scam you? Well, let’s look at this closely. Does the company have fantastic claims that you will not have to work at all? I have never had a job that I didn’t have to work in order to make money. Do they promise that you will make money the very first day that you sign up? I know this is possible and sometimes, you do meet people that this has happened to, but the majority of us have to build our business and be patient when we don’t see the results as fast as we had hoped for. Do they claim you NEVER have to call anyone? I am sorry, but when I was trying to decide on my home business, I wanted to talk to a real person, I wanted a definite human touch and I believe that most people are the same way. Now, I am not saying that if they say NO COLD CALLING that it is a scam or dishonest. There is a huge difference in cold calling and warm calling. If a person has signed up for more information and show an interest in your company, that is not cold calling, so you have to look for that difference in wording.

I tried to make money at a few programs, I never made a penny, and when I sought help, there was none to be found from anyone, not even my sponsors who had made such big promises. Does this make me a program jumper? NO, it does not….I am not out to just take anyone’s money, I would not advertise a company that I found to be dishonest with their claims and I will never turn my back on anyone who needs my help as long as they are not expecting me to do all of the work for them and even then, I would have a heart to heart with them and try to get them pointed in the right direction. After so many disappointments and so much frustration, I knew that I needed a company that offered honesty, training and support and I did find that. I can call the owners Monday through Thursday 9am-6pm Pacific time and know that they will either answer the phone or call me back in a very timely manner. I know that they have training in place for everyone at any level of marketing knowledge, no less than 10 hours of training a week and if I happen to miss one, they have it recorded and in my back office so I can listen to it at a good time for me. I can go into the help section of my back office and know I will be helped by a live person 5 days a week, not just shuffle through a list of frequently asked questions, although they do have a place in any business, there are just times when I need help with something that requires a real person’s help.

It is the human touch that is so important in any relationship, whether it be love or business. There are no get rich quick promises, there are no you don’t have to work to build your business statements, there is HONESTY, there is SUPPORT, there is TRAINING and as if that is not enough, there are 3 tiers of this program to fit anyone’s budget, along with pages and pages of useful tools and ways to advertise for free. When I found this company and took my “long walk” around the back office, I say long walk because I took several days to see what this company was all about, and when I finished that walk, I felt like I was finally home.

Now, isn’t that the feeling you want? Please people, watch out for the scam artists, don’t give your hard earned money to just anyone who promises the world to you. Do your research, make sure you can attend some training classes before you lay that money down, sign up for a free trial and look, really look and study the back office, call and talk to a real person and don’t fall for get rich overnight lines or the you won’t have to lift a finger because we do all of the work for you promises. It doesn’t work that way and anyone who says it does is pulling the wool over your eyes.

Owning your own business is rewarding, but it does take effort on your part. But at the end of the day, doesn’t it feel good to say, look what I have built with my hard work? An artist takes pride in his masterpiece, my business is my masterpiece in progress and I do take pride in it.

Turn Your Dream of Working at Home into a Reality

Have you thought about what starting a home business could mean for you?

Working from home is a big dream for many. But fear holds us back.

Below I have listed a few reasons why starting a home business is a great idea.

#1 You are able to put your ideas to use.

Remember the kind of ideas that are good for a home business are ones that can become real quickly, and start bringing in an income almost immediately.

#2 You can do What You Love.

Most people have something that they really love to do.
Getting paid for doing what you love is a dream come true.

#3 You get to be the boss.

No more working your fingers to the bone for someone else.
You will be the boss and you will reap the rewards.

#4 You will spend more time with your Family.
No more missing out on weekends, family occasions or Holidays.
You will be home for every special moment.

#5 No More Wasting Time and Money Commuting.

With the rise in gas prices and your workplace being as much as thirty miles or more one way just think of the time and money you will save when you work from home!

These reasons alone are good enough to say I am ready to start my own home business. They are the same reasons I had for starting mine.

“The greatest achievement was at first and for a time a dream. The oak sleeps in the acorn, the bird waits in the egg, and in the highest vision of the soul a waking angel stirs. Dreams are the seedlings of realities.” James Allen, author, 1864-1912

Home Business, Truth In Internet Marketing

I am a military wife. My husband serves in the United States Army and is currently serving his third tour of duty in Iraq. I am an extension of him and his service. What I do, what I say and how I act directly affects him, even while he is deployed. There is a certain code that we, the wives, live or should live by. We have to have ethics, we have to have integrity and we have to give facts, not gossip or rumors. To do otherwise could cause great pain and damage to those affected by the rumors. It also causes problems for the soldiers who are then explaining why their wives are spreading such spiteful things. Gossip, rumors & assumptions are not facts.

Another thing I have noticed is, when unable to show proof, it almost assuredly ends up hurting the person who started them in the first place far worse than it ever did their latest subject of disdain. One thing I firmly believe, when a rumor is started, the burden of proof is not on the victim, the burden of proof lays in the hands of the one making the claims. Why am I telling you all of this? Read on and you will see the point I hope to make.

I often spend long periods of time surfing the internet to research articles, look at advertisements and in general, see what others out there have to say about many subjects. Most of the time, it is in an effort to learn new and better ways, or ways that are better for me personally to market. I look at ads just to see what title, or headlines draw me in. Yes, I look at what other marketers are doing and I have spoken to others that also watch. Lately I have noticed some marketing tactics that I find disturbing and and at the very least, questionable.
I believe you earn respect in whatever you do. It is the same in your advertising and marketing. Do not take the respect you have earned lightly, make sure you always deserve it. Once respect is lost, it is extremely hard to regain.

Here are some of the marketing tactics I have noticed while doing my research or just surfing the internet….

I love this line…”you should not have to pay someone to work for them”…I have seen this line used on alot of forums by people who are hoping to sign others up for their FREE program. I will not argue this point because, of course I am not going to pay someone to work FOR THEM. But what does this type of marketing tell me? First, I have to ask, where do the profits come from? But most of all what it says very loudly to me is…join my program and you will still be working for someone else. WHAT? I am looking for my own business and this suggests the opposite. I would not go into a store and expect them to hand it over to me for nothing, there would be an investment. Why do some people think it should be different in an internet business? It is called an investment for a reason and everyday of our lives we have to invest something of ourselves, whether it be time, money or energy.

I get alot of emails and read alot of forums pronouncing this program or that program to be , oh the dreaded word…SCAMS. People readily talk about what a bad investment it is. They seem to know everything there is to know about it …until…someone inquisitive, like myself, starts asking questions. That is when you learn that they have never researched it, talked to anyone who runs the business, or been a member themselves. So, how can they know so much? It is all a tactic to get you, the “consumer” to invest in their business. I have seen it happen, people take their word as fact. Well, he says he is a guru, he must know what he is talking about. All this is, is someone marketing their own program by tearing down another. To be honest, this method makes me curious about the other program, why is it such a threat? Is it so successful that others are being left behind? What exactly is this person so afraid of that makes him need to market this way? I think I will go check the other company out and see.

Ads are everywhere you look. Anything you “google” will bring up an ad of some kind. Some are really good and some make me ask, what was that person thinking? We all know it is the title, or headline that is the initial attraction to an ad. If you have a powerful headline, people will want to know more. There are a few headlines I have seen that make me raise my eyebrows and question the integrity of the submitter. Again, many headlines, like the forums I discussed, use a smear tactic to get that all important click.

“This Company Name” NO! is what one reads or Why I don’t like “company name”. I have clicked out of curiosity and most of them I have found to be copycats of the very company they are smearing. What is this? You are advertising an opportunity very much like the one you say is no good? What sense does that make?

The promise of, join my team and you won’t have to work, the money will just flow in, is not something I use. How many ads have we seen that make such promises? Everything takes some effort. Everything takes a certain amount of work. Even applying for welfare takes effort on the part of the person who has found themselves in need. If you were lucky enough to win a huge lottery, you will still have put in some effort and made some kind of investment just to buy the ticket. Don’t advertise this way to draw people in, it is not honest and what will happen is, the person signs up, pays their investment and finds out they were lied to. Not good business sense.

The use of someone’s name as a title is another tactic I have seen. Usually it is the name of a successful marketer or head of a competing company. How pathetic for someone to stoop to such a level. Can they not draw people in on their own merit? Think about this, how would you feel if you went online one day to see your name used in an ad title, you click and there it is advertising an adult site. Wouldn’t that upset you? I personally would be livid, if you want to use my name this way, you better be sure you have my permission. I am not talking about using quotes here, quotes are used to drive a point home and the person is given the credit for his own words and work. They are inspiration to the writer and readers. But to just place a competitor’s name as a title to an ad suggests to me that #1 you must not have enough confidence in your own ability to drive traffic and #2 the person whose name you used must have alot going for him or her and just might be someone I would want to talk to about investing in their company.

Websites that are put in place for no other reason than to launch a smear campaign on a person or company is a method I find appalling. I came across one by accident a few weeks ago and as I listened to the audios and read the words, I found myself thinking that this sounded like a gossip column, a he said, she said type of thing. What it boiled down to in the end was, someone had their feelings hurt, jumped ship, joined another company and decided this would be a great way to take others with him. It was full of things that were being reported as facts, but upon further investigation, I found they were all way off base.

So, what happens when someone in his new company hurts his feeling? What would happen if I followed him into the new company and he got upset with me? Would I find my name being smeared in an audio online? Look at the big picture, if they do it to one, they will do it to many others. Is this the kind of reputation you want in the business world? Be careful of what you do, things have a way of coming back to haunt you. If someone makes you mad or hurts your feelings, that should be between you and that person and it should always be worked out as adults, not spread on a webpage for the whole world to see and certainly not used as a marketing tactic. It reminds me of the rumor game we played in school, where you whisper in the next person’s ear and it goes down the line, by the time it reaches the last person, it is completely different than what was originally said.

As military wives, we have a saying when things don’t go the way we hoped, please excuse the expression, but it is honestly what we say….”put on your big girl panties and deal”… we are not children fighting over a toy. We are adults in a business world, let’s act like it.

We all need to earn a living and being able to do so from your home is a gift. You need to do your due diligence and research, seek support and be on as many training sessions as you possibly can. I have sought out training from people I consider to be the best of the best and have been able to take what they have taught me and use it and you can rest assured that I will continue with this training. I take advantage of my company’s training and seek out training from others who have much to offer. It is some of the best education I can get on how to market and I am learning to write ads properly, ads that do not step outside the ethical boundaries.

So, when advertising and going about their daily marketing routine, people really need to stop and think about what they are doing. Is it honest? Is it ethical? Am I being professional? Just like everything I do as a military wife reflects back on my husband and his career, how I advertise reflects back on my company and all those in my company trying to make an honest living. For me to do anything to jeopardize it is taking food out of the mouths of my team members, my partners and me. If I practice high standards, I can expect high standards in return. If I use unethical practices, I can expect the same against me. We reap what we sow and if we are to busy stealing from another’s garden, our own garden will suffer.

Don’t become a he said, she said advertising statistic. Be open, be honest, be ethical and have integrity.
